First Snow

Yesterday was our first snow in Crown Point.  We had a mix of wind, rain and snow, but nothing stuck to make a pretty white layer on the frozen and wet leaf covered grass. 
I will say, however, that it reminded me I need to put my newly knit slouchy hats on my etsy store.  The cold wind is brutal to my ears, and I love hats!  Pictures to come soon, they are super soft, very thick and very warm.  A bit of slouch and a nice puffy ball on the top!

Christmas Shopping books are out!

Guess what?  Avon's Christmas themed books are out!  This week, I am planning on delivering the Christmas 2011 Avon gift guide, filled with ideas.  After going to the Representative's Holiday Open House event, I must say my absolute favorite "safe" gifts are slippers (Avon's women's slippers are super comfy and cute!), bath sets, and costume jewelry.
