Last night, I had a nightmare where everyone who bought something from me returned their free gifts.
I always include a free gift with my local customers orders. Usually, its a small hand cream, lip balm, shower gel, or even a mascara. Sometimes, I pack something really nice. I always include a bunch of samples, too. Though its hard to do that for my online customers, that's why I decided to have monthly giveaways with mystery gifts.
In my dream, I was at my monthly sales representative meeting, and my customers walked up and tried to return used gifts...one lady told me she didn't like the bubble bath, and she never bought it! Now, Avon has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but they are free gifts! My logic in the dream made me wonder how I was going to afford getting this lady a different free gift.
Not only did it make perfect sense, this dream felt so real that I woke up thinking I already knew what topic we would discuss at the monthly sales meeting!!

After a long weekend

I feel like the weekend shouldn't be over...I didn't have any time to relax! Saturday was an early day of laundry, followed by hitting a family reunion (complete with a two hour drive each way!) and then dinner with AB (Amazing Boyfriend). Sunday, I showed three homes to a prospective buyer and then went to a dairy farm with my sister. Later, I had dinner with AB and his momma! I was soo tired, I went to bed at 8:30! The dairy farm is so much fun. You can try any of the cheeses they make and sell. Plus, they have the best ice cream and some fun activities. Between the two of us, we spent about $20 and seriously ate too much ice cream. AB gave me some money for cheese, and I bought a couple of pints of ice cream for later this week.
Tonight, I will settle down and watch the new Gossip Girl!

Its been a week since I went to get my bloodwork done, yet the bruise still remains. Its almost gone, definitely not as bad as it was during the weekend. Next week, I will have some more tests...an ultrasound and an x-ray of my upper digestive system. Let's hope they find what is causing my stomach to be so indecisive lately.
This morning I was just looking at the bruise, noticing how it morphs and changes as it heals. Noticing the gal who took my blood treated me like I was a toy being produced in a factory, just a number...flip me over for quality control and send me on my way. She wasn't gentle or kind. Just grabbed my arm and did her job.
Its going to be a long day at work, and I still need to take my shower, deliver some more catalogs and hit the bank and Target. And, I don't feel like moving an inch. I stayed up late, watching tv, and eating cereal for dinner. oooohhh I have to get going!
I will post something more pleasant later in the day....
